Neighborhood Harvest is run entirely by volunteers. Nobody here is paid, and right now most of our costs come out of our founders' own pockets. Your donation helps change that.

You should receive an email receipt within 24 hours of your donation, and one for every monthly payment. If you never receive one, please contact us.
Where things stand
We don't have any paid staff. Every harvest, every free stand restock, and every Harvest Hang Out happens because volunteers give their time.
We're grateful for the donations we've received so far. They have covered our nonprofit fees and our insurance, which keep us in good standing and our volunteers protected.
Everything else comes out of our founders' own pockets: the gas to get to harvests and free stands, and the day to day costs of running things. That has kept us going, but it can't go on forever. We want Neighborhood Harvest to pay its own way, and the only way we get there is with help from the community it feeds.
If you've ever picked up free fruit from a stand, come to a Hang Out, or just like what we do, a donation is the most direct way to keep it going.
What your gift pays for
Our neighbors donate the fruit and our volunteers donate their time. These are the costs that are left. Donations cover the insurance today, and our founders cover the rest.
Fuel & Transportation
Gas keeps our volunteer crews rolling to harvest appointments, food banks, schools, and free stand drop-offs across the county.

The coverage and behind-the-scenes essentials that protect our volunteers and keep a growing nonprofit running responsibly.
Tools & Equipment
The ladders, fruit pickers, bins, and gloves our crews depend on at every single harvest.

Hosting Harvest Hang Outs and showing up at community events to share free produce, seeds, and starts, welcoming new neighbors into the mission.
A permanent home for the harvest
Someday we'd love a place of our own, with room to store, sort, and share more food, and a spot for volunteers and neighbors to gather. Getting there starts with Neighborhood Harvest standing on its own two feet. Every donation brings that closer.
