Agreement & Waiver

I, the undersigned property owner, voluntarily request Neighborhood Harvest to enter my property to assist with gleaning and harvesting excess produce. I understand that Neighborhood Harvest staff, volunteers, and participating College Corps Fellows/students may be present on my property to conduct these activities. I acknowledge that I am responsible for the condition of my property and agree to disclose any known hazards, restrictions, or sensitive areas before harvesting begins.

I accept responsibility for any claims or damages arising from the condition of my property, including damage to landscaping, trees, plants, structures, or other property, except to the extent caused by the negligence or intentional misconduct of Neighborhood Harvest or its participants.

To the extent permitted by law, I agree to release and hold harmless Neighborhood Harvest, College Corps, the participating University/college, and their respective staff, representatives, volunteers, and students/fellows from claims arising from conditions or hazards on my property or damages that may occur to my property, including damage to the plants while harvesting.

I understand that harvesting activities will be limited to areas and activities approved by me and that Neighborhood Harvest may stop or decline work if conditions are considered unsafe.

I understand that Neighborhood Harvest is primarily a gleaning organization and will only take food that is edible. Any produce our volunteers determine is not good for people to eat has no guarantee of being taken, and we may leave it behind.

Thanks again!

We will reach out to schedule and confirm harvest appointments. Feel free to give us a call or text too. We harvest fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and more and give it away for free at weekend community events! 🍎🥕🌿

Any extras are donated to local food banks, free community stands, and organizations. Our goal is to help fill the gaps when food banks are closed on weekends. We give it away for free at weekend events, while making access to fresh food fun, welcoming, and stigma-free.
