Volunteer Planning Meeting

What a productive session! We kicked off planning for the 2nd annual Bigfoot Bowl Bash (featuring the Neighborhood Harvest Festival on September 19th) with a fantastic group of partners and community members.

We had a video call with our friends at Emerald Queen Farms, the Humboldt Skatepark Collective, and our Humboldt College Corps fellows to map out the event and divide up the work ahead. We also connected with a wave of new folks who showed up ready to roll up their sleeves, organizing gleanings and signing on to volunteer for the big day.

It’s shaping up to be a real community effort, and we couldn’t be more excited about the energy in the room (and on the screen). If you missed this one, there’s still plenty of room to get involved. Reach out at Neighborhood-harvest.org or text us at 707-599-9361.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined. Let’s make this the best Bash yet!
